What is happening with dating 

There are now hundreds of videos on YouTube that can be recommended to you if you are specifically a male, dating advice videos. In my time browsing the internet I have noticed those videos pop up in my feed. Usually, I see the title that promises to teach you to seduce 99% to 100 % of women and I ignore the video. Recently I've been opening the videos and listening in to what the male presenters describe. The things said in those videos brought me back to a weird place Animal Channel shows I watched as a teenager. As you know in those documentaries you usually follow one or several types of animals in a savanna or in the Arctic or the jungles of the Amazon. At some point, the topic of reproduction comes and they show you some bulls fighting or birds flapping their wingspan colorfully and exotically and explain the reproductive rituals and strategies of animals without the graphic details or some light sex for the turtles because they do it slowly and it's funny to see those expressions. Well, the funny thing is that the videos about how to get girls on YouTube also speak about the reproductive strategies of the female homo sapiens. What happened to dating?  

How I remember it

I am not that old but I remember when those videos taught you about tips and tricks for actual dates, like where to take a girl out ( an amusement park where with the help of strong feelings ( adrenaline) you can confuse fear with love and voila), they used to tell you lines you can say and just general game. Now we have this animal channel style, or we have the philosophy style, they either invite you to be a sigma male ( lone wolf) or to detach from the women completely by for some reason criticizing OnlyFans creators so like Buddha but a Buddha with anger issues.  

It's time to stop 

Those people in the videos sometimes suggest an internet detox specifically pornography, I suggest going further if you consider an internet detox and closing their videos as well. They might say that their videos are different, that they are teachers of life or gurus or entrepreneurs extraordinaire, don't buy in.
